Hang on guys. MOFFAT CALLED THE DOCTOR “DOCTOR WHO”. 0.0
MOFFAT YOU LET US DOWNNo, he didn’t. Whilst most people get stressy about this fact, let us recall classic who in which the credits read “Dr. Who”.
And in any case, they are the two lead actors of the show and therefore can be seen as the “face of the show”, thus creating Matt as “The face of Doctor Who” and therefore ‘Doctor Who’.
Leave the Moff be.

always reblog David Tennant in drag
He is inordinately sexy dressed as a woman.
And as a man.
And probably naked.
Yes.
Oh hey I wanna watch this show now. Which series is this? :X
(If Doctor Who had trans people in it I’d definitely give it a go. I’m biased like that.)

Not being assaulted is not a privilege to be earned through the judicious application of personal safety strategies. A woman should be able to walk down the street at 4 in the morning in nothing but her socks, blind drunk, without being assaulted, and I, for one, am not going to do anything to imply that she is in any way responsible for her own assault if she fails to Adequately Protect Herself. Men aren’t helpless dick-driven maniacs who can’t help raping a vulnerable woman. It disrespects EVERYONE.

Many classic horror icons and other disturbing creatures share common characteristics. Pale skin, dark, sunken eyes, elongated faces, sharp teeth, and the like. These images inspire horror and revulsion in many, and with good reason. The characteristics shared by these faces are imprinted in the human mind.
Many things frighten humans instinctively. The fear is natural, and does not need to be reinforced in order to terrify. The fears are species-wide, stemming from dark times in the past when lightning could mean the burning of your tree home, predators could be hiding in the dark, heights could make poor footing lethal, and a spider or snake bite could mean certain death.
The question you have to ask yourself is this:
What happened, deep in the hidden eras before history began, that could effect the entire human race so evenly as to give the entire species a deep, instinctual, and lasting fear of pale beings with dark, sunken eyes, razor sharp teeth, and elongated faces?
… Just be careful out there.

The best part is, there are going to be some people that think this is one of those “Use the force, Harry” -Yoda things…when in reality, this is actually a quote.
AN ACTUAL QUOTE, PEOPLE. This is why I love Doctor Who.
Just showed this episode to my dad for the first time. He died.
